Built for adventures, the 2025 Toyota Tundra is one of the most versatile full-size trucks. It gives you a choice between a gas and a hybrid engine, and comes with a range of heavy-duty capabilities for work and play.

Twin-Turbo Performance

Standard on the 2025 Tundra, Toyota’s i-FORCE twin-turbo V6 provides massive power for all tasks. In the base trim level, it pumps out 358 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque and pairs with rear-wheel drive, but you can enhance this model with four-wheel drive for added off-roading capability. In all other gas trim levels, this engine delivers 389 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque.

Available Electrified Engine

Available on select trims, the i-FORCE MAX 3.4L twin-turbo V6 hybrid engine can electrify and add more power to your drives. This powetrain provides 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque, as well as faster torque distribution for enhanced handling and increased traction. It also helps you save at the pump, with EPA estimates of 20 MPG in the city and 22 MPG on the Interstate.

Massive Towing Power

More than powerful, the 2025 Tundra is incredibly capable. The SR, its base trim level, has a standard towing capacity of 8,300 lbs, which is more than enough for a variety of big toys and RV trailers. You can get more from the SR5 model that, in the base configuration with a Double Cab and rear-wheel drive, boasts a maximum towing capacity of 12,000 lbs. Both the SR and the SR5 boast a maximum payload capacity of 1,940 lbs.

Body-on-Frame Construction

With a body-on-frame construction, the 2025 Tundra can handle rough roads like a pro. Its fully-boxed, high-strength steel ladder frame provides a wide stance and outstanding rigidity, improving balance in difficult driving conditions. Double-size frame cross-members offer extra strength while the multi-link rear suspension improves handling dynamics and enhances riding comfort. The truck’s modularity also allows for easier customization.

Ultra-Durable Bed

Whether you opt for a trim level with a short, standard, or long bed, the Tundra’s cargo box is made of an ultra-durable aluminum-reinforced composite and boasts a sheet-molded surface that offers extra strength. With this type of construction, you won’t have to worry about dents, scratches, and other types of damage.

Available Multi-Terrain Select

In select trim levels, the Multi-Terrain Select system adjusts the engine throttle and traction control automatically, improving performance on various terrains, including sand, mud, and rock. This system pairs with other off-roading modes, including crawl control and downhill assistance, for improved handling on tough trails.
