  1. Print 3D Objects

If you want to experiment with 3D printing but don’t want the expense of your own system at home, the library has your solution. 3D printing services are available for any resident older than 16 with a valid library card. Simply bring your design file to be printed to the library on USB flash in .stl format. The librarian will print items on a first-come, first-served basis, and you can pick up your 3D object within a week. Each print costs $1 plus 15 cents per gram of filament used. You can also learn more about using the 3D printer and related technology at the weekly Maker Space Labs, held Wednesdays from 1 to 5:30 p.m.

The library has free wireless internet for public use as well as wireless printing facilities. Print directly to the library from anywhere in both color and black and white. All users must abide by the facility’s internet use policy. You can also bolster your computer skills by attending free classes on topics like Microsoft Word.
