You can also learn more about using the 3D printer and related technology at the weekly Maker Space Labs, held Wednesdays from 1 to 5:30 p.m.

The library has free wireless internet for public use as well as wireless printing facilities. Print directly to the library from anywhere in both color and black and white. The Kingsport Public Library maintains a subscription to Ancestry.com that’s free for cardholders to use. Simply enter your library username and password and access one of the most comprehensive genealogy databases available. Library users can also access the library’s subscription to Heritage Quest. Supplement your online research with a visit to the library’s Palmer Center, a local history resource with access to archives, maps, microfilm, and other relics of the past.
