We love The Kingsport Greenbelt. This beautiful hiking and biking trail is home to plenty of wildlife, including several bird species, river otters, and muskrats. However, what we love most about this trail are the stunning Holston River views. The first mile of this trail is gravel and a little steep, but the rest of the trail is easy to hike or bike. Another great outdoor activity in Kingsport is horseback riding. The Warrior's Path Riding Stables is another great place to have a birthday party. The trail can be a little tricky, but the horses are well-trained and very calm, handling the steep trails with grace. Also, there are plenty of activities to keep your kids entertained while they are waiting for the ride to start, including cornhole, coloring, and goats roaming around waiting for attention. Attractions There are also plenty of attractions to occupy your time during the day. For example, the entire family will love Kingsport Carousel & Park. This indoor park is open Wednesday through Sunday from 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Adults and children alike love this carousel, and tickets are only $1 apiece. The historical Rotherwood Mansion is also well worth a visit.
