The 2025 Toyota Camry has an all-new look, a new hybrid-only pair of powertrains available, and all the classic safety and infotainment features Camry fans have come to expect. It has spacious front and rear rows to suit adults and children alike, and it has great handling across the available trims to make rides in it feel even more comfortable.
The Powerful Hybrid Powertrains
This year’s Camry lineup has two powertrain options available, and both of them are hybrids. The engine is a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder delivering 163 lb-ft of torque and 184 hp. It’s paired with a 134-horsepower permanent magnet motor. In total, the powertrain nets 225 hp.
If you like a more powerful ride, then be sure to get an all-wheel-drive model. It has the same gas engine and permanent magnet motor, but it adds a motor in the rear, increasing the horsepower to 232. Both of these powertrains have plenty of oomph for daily driving without being too sporty. If you’re interested in a sporty ride feel, then consider the SE or XSE, which have suspension systems tuned for a sportier ride.
The Great Toyota Safety Sense Features
Each Camry has Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. This gives them all standard Automatic High Beams, Full Speeds Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Road Sign Assist, Proactive Driving Assist, Lane Tracing Assist, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, and a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection.
These features make sure you’re covered from all angles, helping you avoid collisions in front of you, catch accidental drifting early, stay aware of the surrounding traffic signs, and more. Other trims have additional features available, including Front and Rear Parking Assist, Lane Change Assist, and Rear Cross-Traffic Braking.
The Well-Equipped Infotainment System
The Camry comes with an 8-inch infotainment display that can wirelessly connect to your smartphone. You can also upgrade to a 12.3-inch screen, available in the SE and up. All of the trims have Bluetooth and come with a free trial of SiriusXM. The cabin of the Camry has been redesigned for 2025, adding a more modern appearance inspired by the Toyota Crown. It’s available in a range of eye-catching colors, including four two-tone options. Its boldest exterior color options include Ocean Gem and Supersonic Red.
