2020 Toyota Tundra in Kingsport, TN - Toyota of KingsportSmaller, more fuel-efficient vehicles are popular for commuting, but if you want to carry lots of cargo and passengers, haul heavy loads, or handle tough terrain, you’ll need a bigger vehicle. The 2020 Toyota Tundra comes in 1794 Edition, Platinum, TRD Pro, Limited, SR5, and SR trim levels. Here are three reasons you should choose it if you need a big truck.

Excellent Performance

The 2020 Toyota Tundra can haul up to 1,730 pounds and tow up to 10,200 pounds. That means it can help you transport trailers, boats, ATVs, furniture, and more. Its 38-gallon fuel tank will keep you from needing to stop for gas frequently, and you can add four-wheel drive with a rear-wheel-drive mode to help you conserve fuel. The Tundra gets 13 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway with rear-wheel drive. With four-wheel drive, it gets 13 mpg in traffic and 17 mpg on open roads.

The 5.7-liter V-8 engine generates 381 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque for plenty of acceleration. It uses a six-speed automatic transmission with tow/haul, normal, and manual modes. The independent suspension makes your ride comfortable and smooth, and you can add trail-tuned shocks if you go off-road. An integrated trailer brake controller makes towing easier and safer.

A Spacious Interior With Convenient Features

This truck has plenty of head and legroom. It comes with folding rear seats, voice recognition, keyless entry, a 7-inch touch screen, and Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa, and Android Auto compatibility.

Additional interior options include dual-zone climate control, a folding front seat, heated and cooled seats, push-button start, a power-adjustable steering wheel with phone, audio, and cruise controls, a 10-way power driver’s seat, a compass, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. You can also add an 8-inch touch screen, navigation, a Wi-Fi hot spot, a 12-speaker sound system, and memory settings for the seats and the wheel. The TRD Pro trim has black leather seats with red stitching, and the 1794 Edition comes with brown leather and beautiful wood accents on the steering wheel and gear shifter.

Plenty of Options

With the Tundra, you can choose between two cab sizes and three bed lengths. The Double Cab can carry five passengers, and the Crew Cab can carry six. You can select a 5.5-foot, 6.5-foot, or 8.1-foot bed and a gray, silver, or black grille with the Toyota logo in the center. The TRD Pro has Toyota lettering instead of the logo, along with a large hood scoop.

Available options include a power moonroof with a sunshade, heated power-folding side mirrors with turn signals and memory settings, puddle lights, running boards, front tow hooks, and skid plates. You can choose a power horizontally or vertically sliding rear window, a fixed window, or dual exhaust, as well.
