2023 Toyota Camry

For 2023, Toyota offers six trims for the Camry: LE, SE, SE Nightshade, XSE, XLE, and TRD. The base LE rolls down the road on 17-inch alloy wheels and features Bi-LED headlights with auto on/off, color-keyed power outside mirrors, and LED daytime running lights and taillights. Moving up to the SE upgrades the wheels to 18-inch alloy black machined-finish wheels and adds outside mirrors with integrated turn signals. Opting for the SE Nightshade trim gets you a completely blacked-out color scheme on top of the SE, with black outside window trim and mirrors, along with 19-inch TRD matte bronze-finished wheels.

Upgrading to the XLE adds features like a gloss black grille with a sport mesh insert and 19-inch gloss black alloy wheels. Next up, the XSE sits atop 18-inch machined-finish dark gray alloy wheels, LED accent lights, and LED headlights with auto on/off. Lastly, if you choose the TRD, you get a matte black center cap with a red TRD logo, a TRD gloss black pedestal rear spoiler, and 19-inch matte-black alloy wheels.

Two engines are offered based on the trim you choose. First up, the standard engine for most trims is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine putting out 203 horsepower and 182 pound-feet of torque. While the XSE does feature the same engine, it is tweaked a bit to garner 206 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque. The top-of-the-line TRD has a 3.5-liter V-6 as its standard engine, which makes 301 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. The V-6 is also an upgrade option for the XLE and XSE trims. Both engine types are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The 2023 Toyota Camry offers front-wheel drive as the standard drivetrain, but an all-wheel drive is available for snowy weather or other inclement conditions. The Camry also features three drive modes — Normal, Eco, and Sport — allowing you to customize the settings to your current conditions or personal preference.

Comfort and convenience greet you upon sliding behind the wheel of the 2023 Toyota Camry. Starting with the entry-level LE, you get a USB and USB-C port, power-adjustable front seats, a 12-volt auxiliary outlet, and dual-zone climate control. In addition, you'll find standard features such as a SiriusXM satellite radio and Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Amazon Alexa integration, all controlled via a 7-inch touchscreen. Moving up to the higher trims adds upgrades like keyless entry with push-button ignition, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, and a premium nine-speaker JBL sound system controlled via a 9-inch touchscreen.

The Camry includes Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ system, which includes standard safety features for all trims. You get forward collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control, a lane departure alert, automatic high beams, lane tracing assist, and a traffic sign reader. However, if you move to the upper trims, you can add a blind-spot monitor, full-speed dynamic radar cruise control, and a head-up display.
