2021 Toyota Tundra

The 2021 Toyota Tundra is available in six trim levels: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794 Edition, and TRD Pro. There are several models of each trim. The SR gives you a choice between a 4x2 double cab with either a 6.5- or 8.1-foot bed. You can also choose from a 4x4 model with the same bed lengths. The SR5 adds in the option of the CrewMax cab with a 5.5-foot bed.

When you look at the Limited, you have the option of either the 5.5-foot or 6.5-foot bed. This trim is also available with either the Double or CrewMax cab. The Platinum and 1794 trims are available as either a 4x2 or 4x2 CrewMax vehicle. TRD Pro owners enjoy a 4x4 double cab with a 6.5-foot bed or the TRD PRO 5.5-foot short bed with a CrewMax cab.

All six trims use the same engine, a 5.7-liter Aluminium i-Force V-8. The block includes a double overhead camshaft with 32-valve cylinder heads. It also has a dual independent variable valve timing system. This powerful engine generates 381 horsepower and 401 lb.-ft. of torque.

The Tundra is built for all types of road surfaces. If you plan to take it off-road, consider a 4x4 model that includes active traction control. This feature is designed to give you extra grip on slick or rocky surfaces. An Automatic Limited-Slip Differential system also comes standard on every truck. This feature prevents your wheels from slipping while continuing to feed the engine full power.

All of these models can tow up to 4,300 pounds with the proper equipment, and their payload capacity is up to 1,730 pounds. And if you want to limit your fuel stops, the 1794 Edition includes a 38-gallon fuel tank.

All of the Tundra's trims have seating for six except for the Limited, which has room for five. If you are looking for a truck with luxurious seats, check out the Platinum trim with perforated leather-trim seats, which are heated and cooled in the front row.

In terms of technology, you can connect several smart devices to the truck for easy access to your favorite music, navigation apps, messages, phone calls, and shopping apps from the road. The Tundra's smart interface is compatible with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Amazon Alexa.

Drivers have the opportunity to customize the multi-information display on the dashboard to display important information, including fuel mileage, distance, cardinal direction, and speed.

Toyota understands safety is important whether you're at work or on an adventure, so all of its trucks include the Toyota Safety Sense system. This feature pairs the Tundra's standard backup cameras and eight air bags with additional features, like blind-spot and lane departure warning systems. Finally, the Tundra's automatic high beams help drivers avoid blinding each another at night.
