Trim Levels (Exterior)
The new Supra's sophisticated shape, inspired by both the fourth-generation Supra and the retro flair of the 1967 Toyota 2000 GT from Japan, calls to mind a classic luxury touring coupe. The updated model is distinguished by its aggressive sculpture and swooping angles, integrated rear spoiler, and aerodynamic bubbled roof. The head-turning design is accentuated by the vibrant exterior paint choices, from classic red to blazing yellow to a dramatic matte gray. Trims include 3.0, 3.0 Premium, and a limited Launch edition with a special dashboard plaque, red mirror caps, and matte black wheels.
Engine (Power)
Every 2020 Supra features a turbocharged inline-six engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. You'll experience the power of 335 horses and 365 pound-feet of torque, pushing the Supra to a top speed of 155 miles per hour. With a 0 to 60 time of just 4.1 seconds, the new Supra will reportedly be the fastest Toyota ever made.
Performance
You'll notice cranked acceleration off the line thanks to the inclusion of Launch Control in the new Supra. Like most luxury sports cars, this model comes with standard rear-wheel drive. Paddle shifters offer the ultimate in driving control even with an automatic. The athletic handling is bolstered by the 50/50 weight distribution of the Supra's new body. Toggle between normal and sport mode to adjust the throttle speed, exhaust, steering weight, traction, and differential.
Interior
The Supra's racing-style cockpit is designed for optimal visibility with a wraparound cabin concept that offers extra headroom. Alcantara racing seats feature shoulder bolsters and power adjustment with memory settings. Despite the enclosed feel, the trunk provides more than enough cargo space to take this sharp coupe on a weekend getaway.
The base model is equipped with a digital driver information screen along with a 6.5-inch infotainment screen with integrated Bluetooth. Upgrade to the Premium model for wireless device charging, an expanded 8-inch touch screen with Apple CarPlay and navigation, and a premium sound system.
Safety Features
The 2020 Supra is equipped with the latest and greatest safety features in the Toyota wheelhouse. Standard systems include automatic emergency braking, automatic windshield wipers, forward collision warning and lane departure warning, lane-keep assist, and pedestrian detection. Both trims can also be upgraded with automatic high-beams, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and rear collision warning, traffic sign recognition, a head-up display, and adaptive cruise control.
