Trim Levels

There are five different trims available to choose from with the 2019 Sienna. The base level L comes with 17-inch alloy wheels. Stepping up to the LE adds power-sliding rear doors, roof rails, and heated side mirrors along with rear privacy glass. Another step up to the sportier SE gets you 19-inch alloy wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, and a different look for the front end that includes fog lights, a mesh grille, and daytime running lights. The SE Premium adds to the SE with a sunroof and some interior upgrades. The XLE and XLE Premium both have similar equipment to the SE and SE Premium models, but Toyota added some extra convenience features in the cabin. The top-level Limited and Limited Premium models add 18-inch alloy wheels, a unique front grille, auto-dimming side mirrors, and LED daytime running lights. The Limited Premium also has two sunroofs.

Engine

All the Sienna models come with the same 3.5-liter V-6 engine. It generates 296 horsepower and 263 pound-feet of torque, and it works with an eight-speed Electronically Controlled automatic Transmission with intelligence (ECT-i). Front-wheel drive comes standard, and this is still the only minivan on the market to offer the option for an all-wheel-drive system.

For a truly luxurious ride, go for the Limited trim. It comes with premium leather on the seats, driver seat memory settings, and a heated steering wheel. The technology includes Toyota's Entune 3.0 infotainment system, which is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Apple CarPlay. The Sienna also comes with five USB ports, three 12-volt outlets, and a 120-volt outlet for larger devices. The higher-end models offer a rear seat entertainment system and a driver speak-easy system.

Safety Features

Toyota's Safety Sense P suite of driver assist systems comes standard on all models. This bundle includes a forward collision warning system with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, and blind spot monitoring. It also comes with automatic high beams, a road sign assist system, lane tracing assist, and lane departure warning with mitigation.
