Trim Levels
The Toyota Tundra comes in six trim levels: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794 Edition, and TRD Pro. With a large variety of cab styles and bed lengths available, finding the perfect Tundra to fit your needs is easy. The SR is a two-door, regular cab with a bed that's 8.1 feet in length. The SR5, Limited, and TRD Pro are available in both double cab and crewmax and have a 6.5-foot standard length bed. The Platinum and 1794 Edition are available as a crewmax cab with a 5.5-foot short bed.
Engine
The Tundra SR, Limited, Platinum, 1794 Edition, and TRD Pro all come with a 5.7-liter, V8, 32-valve engine that gets 381 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque. The Tundra SR5 comes with a 4.6-liter, V8, 32-valve engine that gets 310 horsepower and 327 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, all the trim levels come with a six-speed automatic transmission, and all are available in two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.
Performance
If you plan on doing a lot of towing with your Tundra, you want to make sure your truck can handle stopping with a trailer attached to it. That's why the Tundra comes equipped with four-piston brake calipers, the largest front brakes available in its class. Every Tundra also comes standard with automatic limited-slip differential. This system monitors the wheels for loss of traction and automatically applies the brakes to those wheels without cutting engine power. This gives you more control and distributes power where it's needed the most.
Interior
Inside every Tundra you'll find standard convenient features like cruise control, an integrated backup camera, a steering wheel with built-in controls for hands-free phone and voice command, power windows with a one-touch automatic down feature, and a remote keyless entry system.Upgrade to higher trim levels and you'll enjoy premium features like heated and ventilated leather seats, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, a power sliding rear window, and an automatic-dimming rearview mirror with integrated universal garage door opener.You'll also find plenty of storage options in the Tundra. Higher trim levels include a fixed center console with a covered storage compartment and a storage compartment under the rear seats. If you're transporting something large that you don't want exposed to the elements, the rear seats also fold up for extra cargo space inside.
Safety Features
To help keep you secure, every Tundra trim level comes standard with safety features like eight air bags, three-point seatbelts on all seating positions, and a tire pressure monitor system. Additionally, the Platinum and 1794 Edition trim levels come standard with advanced safety features like blind spot monitor, rear-cross traffic alert, and front and rear parking assist. These safety features are also available on the SR5 and Limited as part of an optional upgrade package.
