Trim Levels
The Toyota RAV4 comes in six trim levels: LE, XLE, XLE Hybrid, Limited, Limited Hybrid, and Platinum. On the LE, XLE, and XLE Hybrid you'll find standard features such as halogen projector-beam headlights and daytime running lights, while the Limited, Limited Hybrid, and Platinum come with LED projector-beam headlights and daytime running lights. The RAV4 LE comes with 17-inch steel wheels, the XLE and XLE Hybrid come with 17-inch alloy wheels, and the Limited, Limited Hybrid, and Platinum come with 18-inch SuperChrome alloy wheels.
Engine
Except for the hybrids, every RAV4 trim level comes with a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder, 16-valve engine with dual variable valve timing with intelligence that gets 176 horsepower and 172 pound-feet of torque. The XLE Hybrid and Limited Hybrid come with a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder, 16-valve engine with variable valve timing with intelligence that gets 194 net system horsepower. The LE, XLE, Limited, and Platinum trim levels have a six-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission, and the XLE Hybrid and Limited Hybrid have a continuously variable transmission.
Performance
The RAV4 comes with an upgraded suspension that gives you a smoother and more comfortable drive. If you're looking for a sportier drive, consider the sport-tuned suspension with blue shocks on the front that's available on the SE trim level.No matter what type of ride you're looking for, the RAV4 will let you select it. The LE, XLE, Limited, and Platinum come with two selectable driving modes to customize your drive and satisfy your needs. Sport Mode gives you a lively drive with heightened shift points and faster acceleration, and ECO Mode lets you maximize fuel economy. Choose the XLE Hybrid or the Limited Hybrid and you'll also enjoy one extra driving mode. EV Mode allows you to operate exclusively on battery power when possible.
Interior
When you have a lot to pack on your next adventure, the RAV4 makes sure you have space for everything. The available cargo net hammock helps you keep everything safely stowed and organized. Plus, the flexible design lets you change the configuration depending on what you need to store.When you need to haul around a lot of stuff, the cargo volume behind the second-row seats is 38.4 cubic feet. And if you need even more room, the convenient 60/40 split rear seats let you either fold both seats down for up to 73.4 cubic feet of cargo capacity, or fold one seat down and leave one seat up for another passenger.
