Engine
Every Corolla trim level except the LE Eco comes standard with a 1.8-liter, four-cylinder, 16-valve dual variable valve timing engine that has 132 horsepower and 128 pound-feet of torque. The Corolla LE Eco comes with a 1.8-liter, four-cylinder, 16-valve engine with valvematic technology that gets 140 horsepower and 126 pound-feet of torque. While the SE comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission, all the other trim levels come standard with a continuously variable transmission.
