Choices, choices, choices -- that is what you get when you are looking at the new 2016 Toyota Tundra. This sleek, masculine, full-size truck comes in several different trims. You can choose between the SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794 Edition, and TRD Pro. They all have the same distinct look, with multi-reflector halogen headlights and High Solar Energy-Absorbing glass. However, with each one you need to choose whether you want a regular cab with a long bed, a double cab with a short bed, or a double cab with a long bed. These choices not only effect how the truck looks but how and where it can carry cargo and passengers.
Engine
The choices continue with engines. Your first option is the 4.6-liter aluminum i-FORCE V8 with 32-valve cylinder heads that gets an impressive 310 horsepower. Next is the 5.7-liter aluminum i-FORCE V8 with 32-valve cylinder heads and dual independent variable valve timing that gets 381 horsepower. The last option is the eco-friendly 5.7-liter aluminum i-FORCE V8 with 32-valve cylinder heads and E85 flex-fuel vehicle capability that also gets 381 horsepower.
Performance
If you are buying a full-size truck, there is a good chance you will want to haul things in it and be able to tow. With the 2016 Toyota Tundra, you can not only carry a large load, but also tow up to 10,000 pounds behind you. Upgrade to the tow package, and you can tow even more with the help of outboard mounted shocks. Powerful front brakes and an automatic limited-slip differential will help your truck perform wonderfully.
Interior
What you see on the inside of your 2016 Toyota Tundra will depend on which trim level you choose for the exterior. There will be either cloth or leather seats and either one or two rows of seating.
