Trim Levels
There are three trim levels for the new 2016 Toyota Rav4. You can choose between the LE, XLE, and Limited models. All three versions have a sleek exterior with automatic projector beam headlights, a rear spoiler, and 17-inch steel wheels. The Limited version has the added benefits of a height-adjustable power lift gate with jam protection, a roof-mounted antenna, roof rails, and an acoustic noise-reducing windshield. If you upgrade to the Blizzard Pearl Premium Package, your car will showcase special paint, 18-inch machine-finished alloy wheels, and P235/55R18 tires.
Engine
The 2016 Toyota Rav4 comes with a 2.5L 4-cylinder, 16-valve engine. It gets 176 horsepower and is very strong for a small SUV. The Rav4 comes with a 6-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission that helps its engine maintain ultra-low emissions. Those who live in colder areas of the country can upgrade to the Cold Area Package, which offers a heavy-duty battery, heavy-duty starter, heavy-duty heater, and cold-weather engine coolant to support the car's great amount of power.
Performance
No matter which trim package you choose, when you pick out your new 2016 Toyota Rav4, you can choose between front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD). Both the standard FWD package and the AWD package include independent MacPherson strut front suspension with a stabilizer bar and hydraulic shock absorbers, as well as double-wishbone rear suspension with coil springs, trailing arms, stabilizer bar and hydraulic shock absorbers. Interior
