The exterior of the 2016 Toyota Avalon is redesigned and features an aerodynamic teardrop shape. The front features an aggressive grill highlighted by the optional LED headlights and daytime running lights. Along the side are 17-inch dark gray, painted alloy wheels with machined finish and, in some cases, chrome door handles and chrome-trimmed windows. The rear features LED tail lights and dual chrome-tipped exhaust. Engine
If you are looking for a car with lots of power, the 2016 Toyota Avalon is for you. There is a 3.5-liter, V6, 24-valve engine with dual independent variable valve timing with intelligence that gets an impressive 268 horsepower. Once you add the 6-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with intelligence and sequential shift mode, this car is unstoppable. For those interested in the Hybrid models, it comes with a Hybrid 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder, 16-valve engine with a hybrid system net horsepower of 200.
Performance
When you have this amount of power, you often sacrifice fuel efficiency. However, that is not the case with the 2016 Toyota Avalon. Although the Hybrid models will clearly get the best mileage at 40 mpg, the V6 engine also gets an impressive 31 mpg. Interior
The 2016 Toyota Avalon exudes luxury from the inside, starting with the standard leather seating.
